A.A.
PREAMBLE
Alcoholics
Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their
experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may
solve their common problem and help others to recover from
alcoholism.
The
only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self
supporting through our own contributions.
AA
is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics,
organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any
controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our
primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to
achieve sobriety.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God,
not of works lest anyone should boast."
Ephesians 2:8,9

I
Am Responsible...
When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help,
I want the hand of A. A. always to be there.
And for that: I am responsible.

" Tradition Twelve"
(Long
Form) - And finally, we of Alcoholics Anonymous believe that the
principle of anonymity has an immense spiritual significance. It reminds
us that we are to place principles before personalities; that we are to
practice a genuine humility. This to the end that our great blessings
may never spoil us; that we shall forever live in thankful contemplation
of Him who presides over us all.

I try
to go to Cook
forest PA
every May for a get together with friends from
online and off line.
There is an Official A.A. Conference this week-end
and also in Sept.
Cooks is always the weekend before Memorial Day weekend
&
In Sept. it is the weekend after Labor Day weekend.
I am still trying to find the info on the main Conference.
We rent out cabins , pitch tents and gather around
campfires for meetings and just good ole' get together Chat/Fun.
I have met so many people from on-line. It still Amazes me
how Wonderful life can be Plus all the exciting things I am
doing today. I use to only talk about going places. Now I get in
my car and GO!! Cook Forest is the First out of State place I
ever went alone. I am Grateful for the *Special People* God has
put in my path. I know if it were not for a *Special
someone*, God Rest his Soul, I might have not gone. I got
through the FEAR of asking my husband if I could go and then it
all fell into place.
Recovery Rocks & Rolls and at the same time I have found
something I searched for all my life... ME, Unconditional Love
and Great friendships . I am so amazed at where I am at Today
Thank You God.
Thank you A.A./ Alanon &
the Fellowship f2f & online!
Life is such a Gift

I
pray that I may believe that God is ready
and willing to supply me
with all that I need.
I pray that I may ask only for faith
and strength to meet any situation.
